Another way too weird senerio....I also am obsessed with VW's....I have owned almost every model made by VW, sort of...anyway a lot. I also owned a 1968 VW convertable navy blue with a gray top "Roosevelt" along with over the years a Karman Giha, another regular bug, Rabbit and just sold my VW Thing 1974 model...that was my baby, I owned that since 1981....that was a tough one to let go...but it sat in a garage for 3 years not running and it had some weird engine problem...which no one could figure out...We'll talk more VW's later....Your cuz Terri

This car is calling to you. Are you sure it is not your car re-incarnate?

I'll have to dig out that photo of my bug with the windshield sunglasses that Lynn Yip made for it.

I must be getting old because as much as I loved that car, I'm happy to have airbags and reinforced doors and anti-lock brakes. But you're right, it sure is cute.

It was a very cute little car. Hopefully it ended up in a good home like this one!

My first car was a 1964 Ford Country Squire station wagon. It was burgundy and had cool windows that wrapped around the back corners. Its transmission died not long after I bought it and I ended up giving it to the garbage man. He was delighted and I like to think that he pampered it and gave it the life it deserved.
